This is
who we are.
A growing church family in Kitengela — over 15 years of learning to follow Jesus together, one step at a time.
Why we do what we do
Our mission is clear — three things drive everything we do:
Connecting people to God and to each other
Challenging believers to Christ-likeness
Changing the world, starting right here in Kitengela
Connecting. Challenging. Changing. That's the heartbeat behind everything we do.

Rev. Winnie Odero
Senior Pastor
When a few families gathered in a living room in Kitengela back in 2007, none of us could have imagined what God had in store. We simply couldn't make it to church that Sunday — the roads were closed for the marathon — so we opened a home and worshipped together. That small, unplanned moment became the seed of everything ICC Kitengela is today.
Over the years, I've watched God turn that seed into something beautiful. Families finding faith. Young people discovering purpose. Neighbours becoming brothers and sisters. We've grown — not just in numbers, but in depth. Our vision captures what we feel God is calling us to be: The place for Connection and Transformation to experience God's love.
That vision is personal to me. Connection means no one walks alone here. Whether you're new in town, going through a difficult season, or just looking for a place to belong — there is a seat for you. Transformation means we don't stay the same. We let the Word challenge us, shape our families, and push us out into Kitengela to make a real difference.
We are still rolling up our sleeves on bended knees. We know we can't do this alone — we need God to walk with us, and we need each other. If you're reading this, I believe it's not by accident. Come and see what God is doing here. You are welcome.

What matters most to us
These are the values that guide how we live and serve as a church.
The Word of God is timeless, timely, and relevant. Everything we teach, preach, and share is rooted in the right interpretation of Scripture.
2 Timothy 3:16
We give our best to the honour and glory of God — in accountability, stewardship, integrity, and creativity — because it all reflects the God we serve.
Colossians 3:23–24
We seek to be like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose — appreciating each person's efforts and contribution.
1 Corinthians 12:12–27
Prayer and worship are our lifestyle. We rely on the Holy Spirit and seek God's presence in the conception, planning, and execution of all we do.
John 4:23
As the greatest demonstration of Christ's love, we strive to reflect a humble willingness to serve those around us at all times.
John 13:14–15
As an expression of God's love within us, we build personal, supportive, and deep relationships as we spur one another to holistic growth.
1 John 4:20
Where we're putting our energy
Four priority areas that guide our mission as a church.
Deepening our friendship with God, leading to inner transformation and development of character
A place where everyone belongs and is connected to Christ for positive impact to each other and their neighbourhoods
Reaching out to transform families, youth, and the Kitengela community through the love of God
Faithful stewardship of every resource God has entrusted to us
